Some of the pigments in this old color photograph (taken in Terry Hathaway's home, circa 1973) have unfortunately started to decompose, producing some random black spots, and in a few cases bright red patches around the top of the mirrored niche. Still, however, the imposing beauty of this Philipps Model 34 "Luxus" orchestrion (a.k.a. Wurlitzer Style 34A Mandolin PianOrchestra) is clearly evident. The decorative side-wings can be accessed for storage through a bottom section removable panel.
