The exterior of the Philipps Modell 3 Paganini Geigen Piano while
in the Rezsö Weiser collection located in Budapest, Hungary. It
is unknown when this photograph was taken, but probably post
World War II. There appears to be an electric motor mounted on
the top front of the Paganini; but for what reason is unknown. |

The interior mechanisms of the Philipps
Modell 3 Paganini Geigen Piano while in the Rezsö Weiser
collection, Budapest, Hungary. It is unknown when this
photograph was taken, but probably post World War II. The drums
and other Philipps looking trapwork mechanisms were apparently
added by Weiser, and are not original to this instrument. And it
is also clear that at least some of the trapwork actions have
been modified and/or cobbled to fit, further evidence of the
trapwork not being original to this machine. The non-original
trapwork was removed and the Paganini returned to its original
factory state once the instrument had been purchased and was
situated in Siegfried Wendel's Rüdesheim, Germany, workshop. |
