The bottom portion (or furniture chassis)
of the Paganini Modell 3 Geigen Piano being lifted and
transported on a fork lift after offloading it from a moving
van. The heavy furniture chassis is on its last leg of the
journey to the Goldman music salon. The upper section of the
Paganini is made to be easily removed for transport, as is the
heavy keyboardless piano, which has been removed from the back
of the furniture chassis to lighten the load. |

The heavy and somewhat unwieldy piano (with
the delicate action still attached and in place) being
transported by fork lift into the Goldman music salon, where it
will be slipped back into and reunited with the Paganini's
furniture chassis. The piano assembly is made to be easily
hefted away from the back of the Paganini for tuning and action
maintenance. Each of the individual piano action wippens align
with the corresponding vertical sticker on the backside of the
Paganini's main pneumatic stack, which are, in turn, powered by
the pneumatics situated in one of three tiers (or rows), also on
the backside of the main windchest. |
