A late Link Piano Company Style 2E in its most common case design featuring a simple geometric wood lattice in front of a clear glass pane. Instrumentation of the Style 2E consists of piano, mandolin attachment, and reiterating xylophone.

The only example known to exist of an unusual Link Style 2 with a large art glass window. Reported to have serial number 4374. If that number is correct, it is the only cabinet style known with a number typically used for keyboard style instruments. If this instrument is observed by someone who reads this report, we would appreciate confirmation or correction of the number.

A late Link Piano Company Style 2EX (serial number 7835), with two simple geometric art glass panels. Notice the Link musical program card on the right hand art glass panel. The card is inserted into slots behind the lower clear glass pane. Instrumentation of the 2EX consists of piano, mandolin attachment, and reiterating xylophone.

Late Link 2F #7876 made in 1927.

This late piano, #7876, made in 1927, has two clear beveled windows instead of art glass panels, and has only hammer rail expression instead of the late style pneumatic accenting expression mechanism. Link designated it as the Style 2F.
