Special Case Designs

A Mills DeLuxe (Double) Violano-Virtuoso in a stunning and unusual Gothic styled red mahogany case. Notice that the usual top front doors fitted with a glass pane have been replaced with special doors featuring an intricately carved motif, backed by a cloth screen. On top of the case is a delicately carved matching gallery, when a gallery of any type was a highly unusual addition to any Mills automatic musical instrument. This specimen is a fine example of the craftsmanship employed by Mills in its furniture casework.
