The standard 2-door style L, with each door
running full length from top to bottom. A small molded cherub
head decorates each upper corner, and the casters are mounted on
square wooden blocks instead of conventional piano toes. This
style was made from 1921 through early 1925. |

The late style L, made from 1925 through
the end of coin piano production in 1928, has four doors: two
with art glass panels above the small shelf, and two with wooden
panels below. This style has conventional, although small, piano
toes glued to the inside of the cabinet sides to support the
front casters. The column beside each door has a pressed wood
capital on top. Minor art glass variations exist, including
clear or sky-colored pieces in front of the music roll, and a
clear rectangular piece at the lower right for displaying a tune
card. |

A 4-door L #161,802, made in late 1925. The
interior is similar to the 4-door L #159,431 made in 1924 with a
rotary pump, pictured above. This example has clear glass in
front of the music roll, as shown in the catalog illustration. |
